Terms of service

Effective from 5 October 2026. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you sign up for Persona Digital at personadigital.co. We’ve kept them short and plain, because that’s how we run things.

1. Who we are

Persona Digital is a trading name of Ghost Cat Industries, run by Michael Webb as a sole trader. Our address is Suite 713, 80A Ruskin Ave, Welling, DA16 3QQ, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@personadigital.co or 07731 785712.

The service is for businesses. By signing up, you confirm you’re signing up for your business, not as a private consumer.

2. What you get

For one monthly fee, we design, build, host and look after a custom website for your business. The plan includes:

  • A custom website of up to 5 pages
  • Mobile-first, responsive design
  • Hosting and an SSL certificate, renewed for you
  • Spam-filtered enquiry forms
  • Unlimited copy and image updates
  • New customer reviews added as they come in
  • Direct phone and email support, with no tickets or call centres

What counts as an update: changes to the words, photos, reviews, prices, opening hours or offers on your existing pages. Bigger jobs, such as a brand-new section, a new feature or pages beyond five, are new work. We’ll talk them through and agree any cost with you first. We ask that update requests stay reasonable in volume, and we’ll always tell you if something falls outside the plan.

3. Getting started

  1. You sign up and set up your payment method. Nothing is charged at this point.
  2. You complete the 5-minute brief and send us your logo, photos and any other content.
  3. We design your site and share it with you. The plan includes two rounds of revisions before launch.
  4. Once you’re happy, your site launches on your domain.

We’ll give you a clear launch date once your brief is in. Timings depend on us receiving your content and feedback.

4. Fees and payment

The plan costs £150, $200 or €175 a month, in the currency you chose at sign-up.

  • Nothing is charged until your website launches. Your first payment is taken on launch day, then monthly on the same date.
  • You can pay by card (through Stripe) or Direct Debit (through GoCardless). Direct Debit payments can take a few working days to arrive.
  • We’re not currently registered for VAT, so our prices are final. If that changes, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of any effect on your price.
  • Your price is fixed for your first 12 months. After that, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.
  • If a payment fails, we’ll let you know. If it’s still unpaid after 14 days, we may pause your website until it’s settled.

5. Minimum term and cancelling

The plan has a 12-month minimum term, starting on your launch date. That commitment is what lets us build your website with nothing to pay upfront.

  • Before launch: you can cancel at any time and owe nothing.
  • During the first 12 months: you can end the service, but the remaining monthly payments for the minimum term are still due.
  • After 12 months: your plan rolls on monthly. Cancel any time by emailing us, with no exit fees. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month.

6. Who owns what

  • Your content is always yours: your words, photos, logo and business information.
  • While you’re on the plan, we own the design and code of your website and give you the right to use it for your business.
  • After your first 12 months, you can buy your website outright for a one-off £400, $550 or €475. We’ll hand over the site files within 10 working days, and you can host it wherever you like.
  • If you leave without the buyout, we’ll take the site down at the end of your final paid month. We’ll return your content on request.
  • Your domain: if you already own your web address, it stays yours. If we register one for you, it’s registered in your name and moves with you if you leave.

7. Your part

  • Only send us content you own or have permission to use.
  • Keep your business details accurate and tell us when they change.
  • Make sure your business, and what your website says about it, follows the law.
  • Reply to our questions so we can keep your project moving.

8. Your customers’ information

Your website’s enquiry forms collect details from your customers. You are responsible for that information, and we handle it only to run your website on your behalf. We’ll keep it secure and won’t use it for anything else. We’ll add a simple privacy notice to your site, based on details you give us.

9. Our part

  • We’ll carry out the work with reasonable skill and care.
  • We’ll keep your website secure and online, and fix problems promptly. Hosting relies on third-party providers, so we can’t promise it will never go down, but we’ll always act quickly when it does.

10. Liability

Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the fees you’ve paid in the 12 months before the claim. We’re not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. When we can end the service

We may end the service with written notice if payments remain unpaid, if you seriously break these terms, or if your website would carry unlawful content. We’ll always try to resolve things with you first.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll email you at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

13. The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
